Celebrating Lunar New Year 2022

The Year of the Tiger

According to the Chinese Zodiac this will be the  Year of Tiger from 1st February until 21st January 2023. The zodiac sign Tiger is a symbol of braveness and exorcising evils. There are an estimated 1.5 billion people who celebrate Lunar New Year. Countries who celebrate lunar new year include: Taiwan, Vietnam , South Korea, Tibet, China, Singapore, Indonesia etc. 

This year Step Out Arts is working along side a number of organisations to produce workshops and performances at Rich Mix, Maritime Museum, Museum of London, Dockland and schools in south East London. In addition to this, we are working with Museum of London, Dockland for an international collaboration between the Museum and Cultural Affairs Bureau, Tainan City Government, Taiwan.
