M1 Singapore Fringe Festival 2012

Call for applications for M1 Singapore Fringe Festival 2012: Art and Religion is now open!

The M1 Singapore Fringe Festival is an annual festival of theatre, dance, music, visual arts and mixed media created and presented by Singaporean and international artists. Themed differently each year, the Festival aims to bring the best of contemporary, cutting-edge and socially-engaged works to the Singapore audience. The 2010 Festival featured 18 works from 10 countries over 12 days, and reached out to 70,000 audience members via free and ticketed events.

The theme for M1 Singapore Fringe Festival 2012 is Art and Religion and will take place from 15 to 23 February 2012. The festival is looking for works in all disciplines that will fall within their focus on the theme. Applications are accepted from professional Singapore and international artists/companies. The programme for 2011: Art and Education is listed here. It will provide you with some insight into the programmes, venues and workings of the festival.

The closing deadline for applications is Friday 11th March 2011.
